Thank you for your interest in the Howard Johnson Inn as a place of employment. The hotel is located two miles from downtown Newport on a public transit bus route. Our Inn has won several awards from the Howard Johnson Corporation for outstanding quality and service. We offer clean, comfortable accommodations with professional and friendly service.

You will find our team to be friendly and professional. Seasonal positions are offered during the spring, summer and fall seasons. Full and part time work is offered for seasonal and year round work. Most positions require you to be available for weekend work.

Our Family of Hotels

Our sister property, the Hampton Inn & Suites is located next door to Howard Johnson. Your application may be considered for both hotels. The Hampton Inn & Suites of Newport is also affiliated with the Hampton Inn of Raynham , MA .

Applications may be obtained online* or at the front desk. Appointments are made for interviews after review of the application. Walk-in applicants are always welcome and we accept applications 7 days a week.
